Is President Carter a traitor? Is he going to meet with Ben Laden next?

The US had asked President Carter not to meet with the leaders of Hamas ,a terrorist organization.But he ignored his country's request. Instead, he has become to the views of many, a tool of the ennemy of the US. Is he going to meet with all the ennemies of the USnext? In other words is he a traitor and should he be put on trial for treason? He is getting 500,000 dollars from the US Taxpayers , why does he betray his country meeting the declared ennemies of the US?
