How do I delete my wireless connection?

My wireless internet was unsecured so I set up a pword using my home pc. Now when I try to get on my laptop it says "The settings saved on this computer for the network do not match the requirements of the network." I looked it up and people said to delete the connection, but when I go to manage connections, the option to delete is grayed out. How can I make it work?
