Piano Audition Help!!?
Haha don't worry! Up to five flats and sharps means C Major G Major D Major A Major E Major and Major F Major Bb (flat) Major Eb (flat) Major Ab (flat) Major and Db (flat) Major. If you find a scale book for piano it will show but here are the number of sharps and flats in order as I listed above!: C=0 G=1sharp D=2sharps A=3sharps E=4sharps B=5shaprs F=1flat Bb=2flats Eb=3flats Ab=4flats Db=5 flats. as far as four octaves that means u have to go (from which ever scale ur doing u start on that note so for example for g major u start on a g!) u start on the lowest g and play the finger patter to the next g that is one octave! then u do that all the way up the piano for more then four octaves! for pieces i would reccomend a mozart early concerto which are easier because you have only played 4 years or a piano sonata by another composer or something like fr elise by beethoven is good! depends if they have requirements for that...
