Interesting Harry Potter and Twilight Comparison.......?

Here is a quote from J.K Rowling : "The idea that we could have a child who escapes from the confines of the adult world and goes somewhere where he has power, both literally and metaphorically, really appealed to me" In twilight Bella is not quite an adult but barely minor so in the first book Bella gets to escape the boring adult world ( Like in twilight and new moon she works at Olympic outfitters for three months but later quits her job because she got this filthy rich vampire family who cares about her and doesn't mind spending money on her) and chill with the vamps and Harry Potter is really popular at hogwarts and the attention is always on him, He's the always the hero of the day and he's much more powerful than any adult muggle , Do you like it when authors do this in children's and young adult books , do you think this concept is interesting and if could happen in real life it would be totally awesome?
