Does the P+P costs of selling things on Ebay outweigh the profits made in most occasions?

the more you can get out of P+P the better, eBay take their money from a share of the actual cost you cold it for not the P+P, thats why you see things costing 99p with a �49.99 P+P, because eBay will only take 10p and not �5
